Elevate Health
Elevate Health’s original brand and website
Challenge
• Website upon arrival was underperforming and lackluster considering the vibrancy of the mission and community.
• OnePierce Community Resiliency Fund, the community investment arm, had a very limited presence on the website or in marketing materials.
• Community members, providers, employees, and stakeholders all found it challenging to speak confidently on Elevate Health’s programs and services.
• Elevate Health’s content didn’t benefit from a distinct voice or focus due to a lack of brand standards and opacity around its programs and services.
Solution
• Foster a positive presence in the healthcare community and region through a stronger, more aligned brand with sustainable brand standards.
• Create a sister brand for OnePierce, Elevate Health’s community investment arm.
• Overhaul Elevate Health’s digital marketing presence.
• Create materials to educate community members, providers, and stakeholders about Elevate Health’s structure, programs, and aims through preventative care.
Process
In a brand evaluation, we met with select employees, members of leadership, key community advisory council members, and valued partners to assess the value of the Elevate Health brand, its equity, any financial value, awareness, and its perception. This research was conducted in formal and informal methodologies, including interviews, 1:1 conversations, and surveys.
The majority of the feedback on the current brand was negative — from how the brand came about, its style and design, its management, and the lack of resources the current brand provided to its stakeholders.
We set to work with a design and web development team at Perch Partners with the goal to realign the brand so it could be reinvented and reflect is mission as a non-profit for connected, whole-person health. In addition, we collaborated on the creation of the OnePierce brand (without it turning into a pumpkin!).
Simultaneously, we began to meet with subject-matter experts and leadership to develop a map of programs and services key to Elevate Health’s success. From this model, we created a content strategy of materials that would have the highest value and impact. We also used these conversations to foster in a set of shared company values among all employees that would also help frame up web content that would live on the new site being developed in Figma. We met with our team counterparts weekly, along with subject-matters experts and leadership to refine our materials.
Outcome
In six short months, we launched a new brand for Elevate Health, a new brand for OnePierce, a set of shared brand standards, marketing materials supporting each of the organization’s programs and services, and a new website to support it all. It was crucial that all copy have a specific purpose and reflect Elevate Health’s brand values accordingly. The web content also had to place Elevate Health’s stake in the ground to secure its place beyond the federal funding window.
Elevate Health’s new website
We rolled out the new brand, brand standards, website, and materials to employees first and then to stakeholders. Key partners at MultiCare, SeaMar, CommonSpirit, Community Health Care, and HopeSparks all voiced favorable feedback on the new brand, website, and program briefs.
